The Role This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of the Accounting team supporting a dynamic organization that is radically changing the biotechnology industry. The Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager will report to the Director, Revenue and Collaboration and play a critical role in managing the company's receivables and working capital position across a portfolio of major wholesale distributors (WDs) and national retailers.
The AR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accurate calculation of WD fees, processing and reconciliation of rebates, and end-to-end resolution of chargebacks, returns, and other deductions. A core priority will be to ensure alignment with customers through proactive account management, weekly payment tracking, and dispute resolution—driving timely cash collection and improved account reconciliation.
This role is also responsible for AR and working capital reporting, supporting transparency and strategic cash flow decisions. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and FP&A to drive operational excellence, identify opportunities for process improvements, and ensure strong internal controls. Here's What You'll Do
Perform additional duties as assigned to support broader finance and business objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to AR process efficiency, systems, and controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to proactively identify and resolve account issues.
Lead AR and Working Capital reporting, providing weekly and monthly visibility into outstanding balances, DSO trends, and liquidity impact.
Ensure weekly alignment with customer accounts to track and drive timely payments and maintain account reconciliation accuracy.
Oversee AR operations and relationship management for key customer accounts
Manage and align with internal and external teams on chargebacks, product returns, and miscellaneous deductions (including shortages, disputes, and quality claims).
Administer and reconcile customer rebates based on contractual terms and sales data.
Calculate and validate Wholesale Distributor (WD) fees across major customer accounts.
Here's What You'll Need (Basic Qualifications)
Minimum Experience: 5+ years of relevant AR or finance experience in a corporate environment, preferably within the consumer goods or retail industry.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Experience in working capital reporting and KPI tracking.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Order-To-Cash and Shared Service Center experience.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in SAP.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of deductions, chargebacks, and rebate structures in a wholesale/distribution setting.
Demonstrated experience managing AR for large accounts including WDs and national retailers.
