Job Title: CNC Machinist/Programmer
Location: Warrior, AL
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD, CAM, and CNC programming, and will be responsible for operating and programming our new CNC lathe and mill machines.
2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday 2:30 pm - 1:00 am.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC lathe and mill machines.
Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce precision parts.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
Ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize production processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, Fusion 360).
Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in CNC machining or related field.
Experience with both lathe and mill CNC machines.
Knowledge of material properties and machining techniques.
