Overview Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Director is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Company's cash flow, cash management practices, and related financial reporting. This role requires developing and implementing cash management strategies to manage financial risk, and maximize the Company's financial performance and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders. Your Mission:
  • Lead cash flow forecasting to support the Company's operational and strategic goals
  • Develop and implement cash management policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy
  • Oversee daily cash positioning and ensure timely settlement of all cash transactions, including vendor payments and payroll disbursements
  • Coordinate and manage banking relationships and ensure compliance with all financial agreements
  • Provide financial analysis to inform business decisions, including variance analysis and reporting on cash flow trends
  • Lead on month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliation of cash accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Support with annual budgeting and forecasting processes, contributing to cash flow projections and liquidity planning
  • Work closely with auditors, providing requested cash management information and addressing inquiries
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, working alongside the CFO and the rest of the finance team globally
  • Manage and mentor two direct reports (AR and Staff Accountant)
  • Other tasks as needed
Your Talent:
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in Finance, retail experience a plus
  • Strong background in cash flow forecasting and financial risk management
  • Ability to develop and implement cash management policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, interpreting complex financial data and presenting it clearly
  • Adaptable with the ability to think quickly as situations change
  • Capacity to influence stakeholders
  • Knowledge of treasury management platforms
  • Experience and knowledge using SAP and Workday
