Responsibilities:

The Lab Assistant will assist any non-technical duties including specimen processing, accessioning, answer phones, faxing of reports, billing, shipping and receiving, decontamination, and maintenance. As a Lab Assistant you will:

  • Handle and process specimens according to the lab’s reporting procedures
  • Document all corrective actions taken when specimen processing systems deviate from the lab’s established performance specifications
  • Adhere to lab’s quality management policies through documenting all quality management activities
  • Understand and be supportive of philosophy, purpose, and policies of HarmonyCares Medical Group
