Job Title: UX/UI Designer Developer (25708-1)

Location: 100% Onsite McLean, VA

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Job Description:

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on UX/UI design experience at the enterprise level
• Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD
• Experience designing intuitive, responsive, and engaging user interfaces

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in the financial services industry

Interview Process:

• Rounds: Up to 2
• Format: Microsoft Teams (video mandatory) or onsite
• Duration: 30 60 minutes per round
• 1st Round Options: June 26 at 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 3:00 PM, or 4:30 PM (EST)
• 2nd Round: TBD
• Interview Debrief: June 30 at 2:30 PM (EST)

Position Overview:

Join Freddie Mac's Financial Engineering team on a high-impact strategic initiative. This UX/UI Designer role focuses on improving the user interface of enterprise-level financial applications.

You'll collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to craft seamless, user-friendly design solutions that enhance business workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design responsive, intuitive, and polished interfaces
• Develop wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
• Enhance and maintain a scalable design system
• Partner with UI engineers to ensure flawless implementation
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze design feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with user needs
• Stay current on UX/UI best practices and emerging technologies

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in UX/UI design
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, SASS
• Exposure to UI frameworks like Material-UI
• Strong enterprise portfolio demonstrating user-centric design

Preferred:

• Degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, HCI, or related field (not required)
