We are looking for a Customer Service Warehouse Assistant  to join our team! The role of Customer Service Warehouse Assistant is to help facilitate efficient traffic movement of  loads that Allen Lund Company is assigned. As an on-site employee at one of our customer’s warehouses, professionalism and strong communication with the San Francisco team is essential.  If this is you, or you like a challenge– let’s talk.

You will

• Assist drivers in navigating the Fremont, NE yard 
• Communicate both verbally and electronically with drivers
• Start reefer units
• Clean out trailers as necessary
• Follow all safety requirements
• Maintain up to date load status at all times
• Updates trucks on the road of any status changes
• Insure carrier arrival times at depot
• Communicate verbally and electronically
• Work closely with the San Francisco team
• Other General Areas of Responsibility
• Inspect refrigerated trailers and ensure that they are safe and ready
• Red tag any unsafe trailers and maintain work areas clean at all times
• Follow the established inspection procedures and complete inspection sheet for each trailer
• Work schedule: Mon-Fri, 5:00 am - 2:00 pm

Skills and Experience

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player who excels in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in warehouse/yard/customer service/freight brokerage is a plus
• Excellent and effective communication skills 
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic
• Ability to quickly process information and make decisions
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills, and ability to handle conflict
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range : $38,000- $40,000/ year
