The Role

We’re looking for a sharp, resourceful, and outbound-obsessed Business Development Representative to help fuel Aspire’s growth engine. This role is all about creating pipeline, identifying high-potential accounts, breaking into them with strategic outreach, and generating qualified opportunities for our sales team.

As a BDR, you’ll partner closely with Sales and Revenue leadership to refine outbound strategies, test new messaging, and ensure Aspire is in the room with the right decision-makers. This is a high-impact, foundational role with clear performance metrics and a structured path to grow into an Account Executive position, based on strong performance and business needs.

What You’ll Be Working On:

• Outbound Prospecting: Research and identify high-fit DTC and B2C brands and agencies that align with our ICP. Build and maintain a robust top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Cold Outreach Execution: Launch and iterate on targeted outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and phone, to create conversations and book qualified meetings for AEs.
• Discovery and Qualification: Lead initial discovery calls where needed to assess fit, understand brand goals, and set up AEs with context and momentum.
• Account Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to prioritize target account lists and refine messaging frameworks that speak to brand pain points and market dynamics.
• Continuous Optimization: Work closely with Sales and Marketing to analyze response rates, meeting conversion, and win data to optimize outbound tactics.
• Sales Skill Development: Sharpen your sales acumen through regular coaching, shadowing, and structured feedback with a clear roadmap to promotion.

• Bonus Points: Prior exposure to SaaS, eCommerce, or marketing technology sales. Experience running outbound campaigns, even informally.

The base salary for this role is between $50,000 – $60,000. This role is non-exempt and eligible for commission with the salary band.

• Please note: The final offer amount will depend on factors like experience, expertise, and location, and may differ from the range above. This range also excludes additional benefits, such as equity, 401(k), and medical, dental, or vision insurance.

Our compensation philosophy: we use a market-based approach to compensation. This means we use a series of compensation tools to help us understand how companies value this role in the U.S. market based on function, level, geographic location, and positions benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. To comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards.
